We here at TechMonsterz do not have a history of playing the Resident Evil games. We did recently rent Resident Evil 5 for PS3. The presentation, story, visuals, cutscenes, voice acting were all excellent! We did not enjoy, though, the Inventory Menu and the difficult controls. From our understanding the controls and Inventory Menu are similar to previous titles in the series. Us being newcomers to the series found both of these frustrating to the point of sending the game back!
Reading other sources, they say long-time Resident Evil fans may not enjoy RE5 due to the Action Adventure turn, as previous titles were more of a Survival Horror genre. Anyway, we would definitely recommend everyone check out this game because the quality is excellent. Newcomers to the series may find this game difficult to control as we did.
